Hong Kong is home to a dynamic and ever-growing community of individuals aged 50 and above—now numbering more than 3.1 million, or 41% of the population, according to the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department. This group brings fresh energy, creativity, and new perspectives to our city’s cultural life.

Whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or rediscovering a past passion, the “Metro” initiatives put fun and friendship at the heart of every experience:

Pop Jazz on Sax: Get inspired by the lively sounds of saxophone and enjoy learning with others in a supportive group atmosphere. Regular classes are held every Monday morning at Hong Kong Cultural Center.

Metro Pops Choir: Let your voice shine, make new friends, and create unforgettable musical moments together. Regular classes are held every Wednesday night at Cheung Sha Wan.
