Melody for Kindness Concert
by PMA Music Foundation & True Colors Symphony
March 29, 2026 at Jockey Club Auditorium, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
“Melody for Kindness” is a concert event that celebrates the power of music to spark kindness and deepen understanding of neurodiversity. Held in alignment with Neurodiversity Celebration Week, it brings together schools, families, and community partners to recognise the unique strengths and talents of neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, visually impaired and other learning differences.
Inspired by the tender, imaginative world of Joe Hisaishi’s Studio Ghibli music — especially “My Neighbor Totoro”, where only children can see what adults cannot — the concert reminds us that each child’s inner world is real and precious, and that every student with different learning needs, sensory experiences, and unique strengths deserves to be seen, understood, and supported.
Dream Beyond Darkness - Mother's Day Concert

The PMA Music Foundation will present a Mother's Day concert on May 4. Vip are honored to invite Chuang Fu-hua, a poet and writer known as "The Code Girl" (who became quadriplegic, blind, and unable to speak due to an accident, leaving her with multiple disabilities except for hearing), as our special guest for the concert.
The event will feature Chuang Fu-Hua, a quadriplegic poet and author, who will share her journey with her mother. Also performing will be the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of Hong Kong (MYO), three talented visually impaired soloists from True Colors Symphony, the student and parent choirs from St. Stephen's College Preparatory School and the Little Flower Choir. Join us in creating an event that touches hearts, inspires minds, and honors the strength of caretakers, while celebrating human resilience and love through artists who have overcome incredible obstacles.
"True Colors" by True Colors Symphony

Every person has a story of overcoming challenges in their own way, while we always overlooked the chance to be inspired daily by our heroes from all walks of life. It is our differences which make our community richly colorful.
Featuring performances by Canadian one-armed Violinist Adrian Anantawan, Mandy Harvey, a deaf singer-songwriter who won the America’s Got Talent Golden Buzzerand local singer Bill Ng, the finalist of ‘Midlife, Sing & Shine!’ empowers the message of ‘Be True, Be Colors’.
Conductor Quek Ling Kiong, conductor Homer Lee, pianist Dr. Elsa Lee, violist Li Ming, cellist Laurent Perrin, as well as three rising differently-abled musicians – Yijie Ding, Hin Lee and Enhua Yang, will share the stage with members of True Colors Symphony.
Join us to be uplifted by the ‘colors’ all around us, expressed through notes by True Colors Symphony. Discover for yourself the heroism in ordinary acts of courage, perseverance and bringing people together through music.
True Colors Symphony X MTR Corporation
Multicultural Green Music Show and Multicultural Mini Exhibition
June 2, 2023 at Maritime Square, Phase 1, L1 Atrium
On 2 June 2023, MTR staff and people from different ethnicities will join hands to perform with handmade green musical instruments at Maritime Square! The instruments are crafted from retired train parts, making the performance not only a celebration of music but also a creative form of sustainability. After undergoing percussion training, the performers will showcase their newfound skills with their instruments.
In addition to the performance, there will be a Multicultural Mini Exhibition which will allow visitors to see the instruments up close. There will also be a free music jam session, in which visitors can join in and play the instruments together!
The events will surely provide a diverse and immersive experience for visitors, highlighting the potential for creativity and sustainability in repurposing retired train parts.
Dream Beyond by True Colors Symphony

DREAM BEYOND Concert will feature three visually impaired musicians, Yijie DING, Michelle SIU, and Enhua YANG, who will share their life stories and perform their favorite repertoires. Their inspiring stories of overcoming adversity and achieving success in their music careers will be sure to captivate and motivate everyone in attendance.

"Green Harmony" Multicultural Green Music Video Competition

Co-organized by MTR Corporation, “Green Harmony” Multicultural Green Music Video Competition will open for enrollment on 21/2 ! The competition aims at promoting the concept of "Respect and Embrace the Differences”, encouraging cultural diversity and inclusion, at the same time promoting the idea of eco-friendly and raising public awareness of environmental protection
Entrants have to form a multicultural group, perform body percussion and use household items as percussion instruments to create a music piece with beats and rhythms. The group has to film and edit the clips into a 1-2 minute music video.

Beats in the City - "Loving Family" Beats Competition

Organized by True Colors Symphony and sponsored by the Lee Kum Kee Family Foundation, Beats in the City - "Loving Family" Beats Competition will open for enrollment on 6/1/2023 (Fri)! The competition aims to encourage family members of different generations to establish interaction , and to allow the old and the young to be inventive, unlock their creative minds, and build beautiful memories with family members in the process of collaboration.
Entrants will form a group of at least 3 cross-generational family members, perform body percussion and use household items as percussion instruments to create a music piece with beats and rhythms. The group has to film and edit the clips into a 1-2 minute family music video.
